Real Estate and Restaurants in Puerto Penasco/Rocky Point
Real Estate and Restaurants tend to go hand in hand. So many real estate deals have been made over drinks and dining.
Puerto Penasco or as Americans refer to it Rocky Point has so many excellent dining options. From street tacos and Sonoran hot dogs to fine dining and everything in between. Here are some of our favorite places around town.
Sr. Amigos – located on the Malecon their menu has a little bit of everything. I have only had breakfast here but it has been consistently good each time. You can sit on their outside patio which extends over the water. Great views.
Pane e Vino Ristorante – located on top of Whale Hill this place has amazing food and views. They serve fantastic Italian food and wood fired pizzas. Also on the menu is several fresh seafood dishes. Consistently rated as a top restaurant in Puerto Penasco.
Kaffee Haus – located on the way to the fish market and Malecon this place is a go to place for breakfast and lunch. They also sell yummy pastries. Try the strudel.
Pollo Lucas – Some of the best chicken in town. It is served hot and fresh right off the grill. It comes with tortillas, pickled red onions, salsa, cabbage…you can add rice and beans. You can bring your own beer/beverage.
Mare Blu – located right on the water on your way to Cholla Bay. Excellent Italian cuisine in a fine dining atmosphere. The chicken marsala is excellent. Great for a date night.
La Curva – located this place has been a Rocky Point staple for many years. One of the only places in town that serves a molcajete dish. It is served in a piping hot volcanic rock molcajete bowl. It is like a Mexican salsa stew with chicken, fish, and shrimp. Garnished with avocado wedges and grilled green onions. One of the best dishes I have tried here.
Al Capones Seafood and Pizzeria – located on Sinaloa St. in the Mirador neighborhood. Very popular with the American crowd. The favorite thing I have tried on the menu is the blackened Grouper with fettucine alfredo and steamed vegetables.
Colins Cantins – located at the Princesa resort. They do a 2×1 burger special on Mondays. Taco Tuesday is short rib tacos. A small but fun place with great food. Bingo on Thursdays.
Bryan’s Sports Bar – located near the Las Conchas turn off. Very friendly staff and service. They have some great specials. Monday is $1 burger or chicken sliders. Wednesday is 2×1 wings. Thursday is $5 pasta night with about 6 choices of pasta. This is my wife’s favorite place in town for a great burger.
Jesse’s Carreta – located in a quiet neighborhood on the North end of town it is in the back of Jesse’s house. Look for the Mexican flag on his roof. Mostly traditional Mexican dishes with a few American favorites mixed in. The food is always fresh and delicious. The prices here are very reasonable. Quickly becoming a must stop for many people.
There you have it 10 places to consider. There are so many more great places I will post more in the future.
